电影对白里经常会听到：
I don't buy it.或是 "I don't buy your story"（我不相信你这一套）；
buy 在俚语中有“相信”的意思
I don't buy your story. You've said that over a million times.我才不信你这一套，你已经说过无数遍了。
Day 2
中国人说热成狗，美国人说汗成猪
I am sweating like a pig.我出汗出得像只猪。
中国人说“热成狗”，美国人说“汗成猪”，但中国人的“热”跟狗毫无关系；美国人的“出汗”也跟猪八竿子打不到一块。猪和狗属于“躺枪” 。
Day 3
nail-biter 激动、紧张到咬手指；一般指紧张的局势：电影或体育赛事等
It's been a real nail-biter. 这个真够刺激。
Day 4
as cool as a cucumber（黄瓜），意为： 冷静沉着, 镇静勇敢； 当一个人碰到困难和麻烦时很冷静、很放松
He is as cool as a cucumber upon any accident.
他面对任何意外都表现得镇静勇敢。
Day 5
moonlight 这个词我们的第一反应是“月光”，它还有另外一个和月光毫无关系的意思——兼职。
He is an engineer who is moonlighting as a Uber driver.
他是一个工程师，还兼职当优步司机。
Day 6
on the air 播送，广播；
The news will be on the air at 6pm. 这条新闻将在下午六点播出。
in the air 在空中；(问题等) 悬而未决；感到疑虑；
Our plans are still in the air. 我们的计划还没有制订好。
Day 7
honey trap 甜蜜的陷阱，后多形容"美人计"
Finally he realized it was a honey trap but it was too late.最后他才意识到这是一个美人计，但一切都太晚了。
